Load Cell Flexible Cables are designed for use in various industries, including digital cable, telecommunications, and battery chargers. These cables feature a unique construction with annealed tinned electrolytic high-conductivity copper strand conductors, complying with IS: 8130/1984 standards. Insulated with PVC according to IS: 5831/1984, the cables have cores twisted together in color-coded options (red, green, black, and white) for easy identification. They are equipped with a foil screen and drain wire or a high-density tinned copper wire braid for enhanced protection against water and mechanical damage. Additionally, these heat-resistant cables consume less power and are easy to wind and install, making them ideal for demanding applications.
Load cells cable are used in multiple load cell weighting systems. Load cells should be electrically connected in such a way that signal (output) lines, excitation (power supply) and sense (when present) lines are in parallel. Usually the connection is not made at the indicator, but in a separate housing, a so called junction box, located adjacent to the weighting system.
